The Clifford Township Police Department is off to
a positive start for 2010. A re-organizational meeting held on Jan.
4, 2010 Clifford Township has appointed a new
police commissioner,
BARRY SEARLE. together our mission is to provide the citizens of
Clifford with more police coverage and protection by adding more
hours to our 2010 schedule and by utilizing more of our part time
officers. I am very pleased to have the privilege to work with Mr.
Searle.
The department has been having some equipment
problems but these issues will be fixed by mid April 2010.
If you have
been a victim of a crime or have seen a crime occur, you should report it
immediately by dialing 9-1-1! Many of our residents have stated that
they have drove through the township searching for a police office in
emergency situations instead of dialing 9-1-1! Please remember that
the township encompasses 41 square miles and our department will be able
to respond more quickly and more efficiently in an emergency if you dial
9-1-1 and report the emergency immediately then if you were to drive
around looking for help.
